Amy Shaw

I am an artist, writer, and community arts advocate based in Lake Worth Beach, Florida.

My work explores creativity, connection, storytelling, and the ways art can bring people together. In addition to my personal artistic practice, I am the founder and president of Just Add Creative, a 501(c)(3) arts organization that provides free craft kits and creative opportunities to people of all ages. Through this work, thousands of art kits are distributed year-round to children, families, seniors, veterans, and community organizations throughout South Florida.

I maintain a Little Free Library and a Free Little Craft Kit Gallery, believing creativity should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or financial circumstances.

My interests include mixed-media art, community engagement, public art, storytelling, and creating spaces where imagination and connection can flourish.

When I'm not making art, organizing community projects, or interviewing artists, I can often be found exploring nature, tending my garden, hiking local trails, or dreaming up new creative adventures.
